Health Kinesiology for Stress - 'Pull Yourself Together'
For some people, symptoms of ill-health will appear in the physical body and can be treated as such. For others, their symptoms will largely manifest in the mental and emotional spheres and may include: anxiety, stress, depression, sleep disturbances, phobias, compulsive disorders, loss of libido, outbreaks of temper or of weeping.
This brings a number of challenges. For one thing, we will probably find it difficult to ask for help, friends and family may be less sympathetic and of course it is often difficult to recognise that we have a real problem and don't simply need to 'pull myself together'.
The good news is that imbalances in the mental and emotional parts can be treated very effectively without drugs and without hours of talking over the problems. Health Kinesiology (HK) sees anything that takes away from our state of perfect health and wellbeing as an imbalance or blockage of energy at some level. By removing those blockages we enable the body's energies to rebalance and find the route to recovery.
In this gentle process I use muscle-testing to identify where the stress is held and find the best way to release it. This might mean looking at a particular thought, inhaling an essential oil, or using crystals or colours to help the body to clear the stress and return to a state of health. Most people find this a very relaxing and releasing experience which leaves them feeling clearer and stronger about their life's path. Sometimes a session will reveal areas where some changes may be needed in lifestyle or diet in order to continue recovery and these will be carefully worked out for you.
