From March 2011 due to new legislation, we are not allowed to make claims for treatments that has not been scientifically proven. Most complementary therapies cannot be proven despite having been found to be very effective.
All the information you find on our website has not been qualified by Scientific Research and any treatment you undertake will be at your discretion. We believe in our treatments and we have an impressive number of clients who believe in them too.

Why Nutrition?
Nutrition is the science of food and how it is used by the body for nourishment and to sustain life. Food is essential in every biological process in your body; from the simplest to the most complex, and these processes work best when they have the right fuel.
When we don't eat the right combination of foods, and don't get the right nutrients our body prioritises what is available to ensure vital body functions continue to work. As certain systems in our body don't get what they need the result is symptoms such as cramps, headaches or low energy. All too often we go to the chemist or doctor to get a chemical drug to force the body into reducing these symptoms, when the better option is to solve the underlying problem - by eating better!
That is why nutrition should be the first thing you consider when you don't feel 100% - it is the simplest and most natural route to good health. And the majority of complaints can be greatly reduced or even eliminated with great nutrition!

Who could benefit?
Everyone!!! We all need great nutrition to perform at our best, although the nutrients we require change as we move through the different stages of life. Providing a wide range of nutrients is essential to maximise health and wellbeing. We are all busy people coping with daily stresses of juggling the home, work, family and friends. A happy balance can be reached in your life where you obtain the right nutrients without having to lose the enjoyment of food and eating out.

The Consultation
Approx 1 hour
We begin with a discussion about your current health, your 5 day food dairy, previous medical history and every area of your body to get a complete picture of you
We develop a list of achievable goals which fit in with your lifestyle
We agree on the ideal meal balance for your body and state of health
We talk about how to make the right choices of eating, either at home or in restaurants to stay in line with your nutritional plan
And, we identify some healthy meal and snack suggestions which are right for you

In some cases supplements and diagnostic testing may be suggested

Focus Sessions - COMING SOON!
Focus sessions for small groups of peope will soon be available. These topics will be tailored to your needs such as:

Wheat free diets
Why wheat is a problem for so many of us, alternative wheat sources and where to buy them, how to cook without wheat and how to avoid wheat when eating out
Lower your blood pressure
How to eat right and reduce your blood pressure, easy meal ideas, what foods to avoid, eating out, recent research and medical findings
The cost the focus session will be based on number of people attending but will range from £10 - £15.
