
Mood Swings
Mood swings can have many causes, including hormonal imbalance (PMS, Menopause) blood sugar imbalance, leaky gut, toxic liver and mental disturbances.
We have found that Food Intolerances are often the reason behind mood swings. This test is always a good place to start although the complete tests of Foods, Vitamins & Minerals and Hormonal Imbalances would offer a more comprehensive insight into possible causes for emotional disturbance.
With many of our clients we have frequently found that the root cause has been erratic blood sugar levels or an imbalance between the oestrogens and progesterone. In some cases it has been deficiencies of key nutrients that help the body to create neurotransmitters such as serotonin, endorphins and dopamine.
