Menopause

Menopause

Menopause is the end of a woman's reproductive years. Heavy & inadequate periods, hot flushes, vaginal dryness, failing libido, disrupted sleep, stress, fatigue, headache, migraine, depression, memory loss, poor concentration, weight gain, water retention, mood swings and thyroid imbalances are symptoms. It is essential to balance the hormones.

At Natural Practices we specialise in hormonal imbalances. We use a state- of- the- art Screening System called the 'Health Detective' which tests for hormonal imbalances. This test is more sensitive than a blood test which only picks up the more obvious cases. Often changes are being made by the body for many years before finally making the blood changes. Readings can be classed as sub-clinical for a long time - these changes do not happen overnight.

We test all of the endocrine glands and 56 hormones together with vitamin and mineral deficiencies as these imbalances will often mimic hormonal symptoms. The test also checks if there is correct absorption of food as, together with hot flushes and other menopausal symptoms, there can often be weight gain. See case history.

Please telephone or email to book an appointment and ask for the 'Hormone/ Vitamin and Mineral Test'. The test will take about an hour.

We have a number of specific products available on our On-line Shop 'Hormonal Health, Menopause'. If you are unsure which product would be most beneficial for you, please contact us and we will be pleased to advise.
