Liver health is important, as an under-functioning or 'toxic' liver can affect the function of many body systems. Toxins can come from red meat, tea, coffee, alcohol, animal fats, preserved food, ready made meals, smoking, tap water, medicines and pollution.
How do you know if your liver is toxic?
Blood tests only confirm the end result, but the liver cells can become damaged long before that. We use a screening system called the 'Health Detective' to identify toxicity levels. It does this by passing different frequencies through a point on the finger to challenge the liver's response. The recipient does not feel any discomfort, this test can even be performed on babies. The test helps to determine how well the liver is neutralising and excreting toxins. We also check for toxicity levels and find out which organ is most under stress, which organ is challenging the immune system and which organ is most fatigued.
From these tests we determine the best course of action; this may be a short detoxification period, taking herbal or nutritional remedies or even using homeopathic products to assist drainage of the organs.
During any supplementation programme it is important to drink 2 litres of water per day, cut out caffeine, alcohol, too much red meat, cigarettes etc to assist the liver. Liver cells regenerate every 6 weeks, therefore a supplementation programme and eliminating toxins should be followed for at least 6 weeks.
