Halitosis
Most commonly known as Bad breath to describe a noticeably unpleasant odour exhaled when breathing. Whether the odour is from an oral source or not, halitosis has a significant impact, personally and socially, on those who suffer from it and is estimated to be the 3rd most frequent reason for seeking dental help, the most common being tooth decay and periodontal disease.
Once the Dentist has ruled out any infection as the cause, there are lots of alternative treatments available.
Natural Practices recommends:
A Colonic Hydrotherapy session helps to clear the large intestine of any fermenting waste. We are actually hollow from our mouth to our anus and so any waste that isn't being fully excreted can start to decay in the intestine and can produce a bad odour (even if you are going to the toilet the recommended three times per day!).
We also suggest having a Vitamin & Mineral Screening to ensure that food is being digested effectively, as a lack of enzymes, hydrochloric acid or good bacteria will cause a putrefaction of food.
Please telephone or email to book an appointment or to ask for further information on Colonic Hydrotherapy and a Vitamin and Mineral Test with the Health Detective Screening System..
