YOU are the most important thing to the body and unless your health is in balance, your body will not consider creating or sustaining another life – this is equally relevant to both sexes.
Whether you wish to conceive naturally or work alongside assisted conception techniques such as IVF or ICSI, we tailor a Fertility Protocol for you.
Many specialist Clinics still use questionnaires to determine nutritional, hormonal and toxicity levels. Our Fertility programme is more precise as we use the ‘Health Detective’ Screening system to assess your state of health, removing the guesswork out of the consultation and analysing your unique requirements. We can then guide you to pregnancy through natural means.
We use the Screening system to assess your unique nutritional requirements, as imbalances here can act as a ‘stressor’ to the body. We look for energetic changes in the hormonal system, as imbalances in the adrenal or thyroid gland may be affecting fertility, yet still show as ‘normal’ on blood tests. We analyse the diet to ensure there are no food intolerances and to check that daily food choices are pro-fertility choices.
We specialise in both Nutrition and Herbalism; with women we tailor remedies to encourage blood flow to the endometrium, support the liver which regulates hormones, and balance the Female system which aids cervical mucous production and regulates periods.
With men we use nutrition and herbs to encourage healthy sperm production, cleanse the liver and promote healthy blood flow. Remember at the moment of conception, however that may be achieved, a baby is 50/50 two people – so both mum and dad need to be at optimum health.
Acupuncture treatments help bring the body into balance and, if you choose this route, are also recommended during egg transfer. An Acupuncture session focuses on optimising a patient’s entire organ system to improve overall health- as a result, fertility may be greatly enhanced. Acupuncture can also help women who suffer from PCOS, endometriosis or have suffered with recurrent miscarriages, and can help to promote a healthy pregnancy.
We also work closely with Dr Martin Kinsella with the use of Bio-Identical hormones, should they be required.
