Exhaustion / Fatigue/Tiredness

Exhaustion /Fatigue/Tiredness is the inability to concentrate, waking up feeling tired, after many hours of sleep, with no energy and little motivation. There are feelings of being overwhelmed - tired, wired and irritable.

It can be caused by many factors i.e. poor diet, stress, excess toxins, hypothyroidism, hormonal imbalances- especially around the menopause - blood sugar imbalance and conditions such as Anaemia or ME which can rob the body of vital nutrients.

Exhaustion/ Fatigue / Tiredness may be a sign of something deeper occurring in the body and therefore it is advisable to seek medical advice in the first instance. If all tests from the GP come back negative we can then concentrate on finding the cause of the problem.

The most effective test we have found is the Food/ Hormone/ Vitamin and Mineral Test.

  • If you are eating foods on a daily basis to which your body objects, it is going to use up a lot of vital energy
  • If you are deficient in enzymes to digest the food, then you are also using vital energy
  • If your hormones are out of balance, such as your pancreas and blood sugar, you will crave sweet or salty foods and make the exhaustion/ fatigue worse. It all becomes a vicious cycle.

In addition, there may be adrenal fatigue or even sub-clinical low thyroid that won't show up on blood tests. Once the root causes have been identified, a Programme is developed which may include a short detoxification period, dietary adjustments, herbal support for the Endocrine System (hormones) and nutritional support.
