Energetic Medicine
Energetic Medicine works on the energy pathways of the body - similar to Acupuncture. The concept of energetic medicine is that the body is a self-regulatory mechanism under electro-magnetic control. This concept is not new - more than two thousand years ago, the Chinese developed a sophisticated theory of energy (chi) and bio-energetic control through the acupuncture meridian system of the body.
In the 1950's, a German medical doctor, Reinhold Voll, found that he could accurately locate acupuncture points using a simple electrical measuring device, the Ohm-meter. Being involved in the ancient Chinese practice, his idea was that modern technology may enhance acupuncture in the treatment of various chronic diseases such as allergies, chronic fatigue, migraines, and chronic liver, kidney or pancreatic diseases, and the foundations of energetic medicine were born.
Dr. Voll's research led him to electro-acupuncture (EAV). He found that acupuncture points had a uniquely different electrical resistance (lower) than the tissues immediately adjacent to them. The electrical resistance of the points alter with physical and emotional changes giving an indication whether the body is in a healthy state. Dr. Voll demonstrated that electric currents could enhance manipulation of the traditional acupuncture points.
Although energetic medicine is not within the parameters of 'conventional' medicine, in the hands of a skilled and experienced Practitioner, an EAV machine can provide valuable information about the body's vital functions in a non-invasive way. The EAV is a highly technical instrument used in energetic medicine and it is crucial that the results are interpreted accurately.

Based on the principles of 'electro-acupuncture according to Voll', our equipment allows us to identify energetic imbalances in the human body including food intolerances, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, accumulation of heavy metals and industrial chemicals, viruses, parasites and many more.
