Cold Sores
Cold Sores are highly contagious blisters around the mouth and lips caused by the Herpes Simplex virus. They can be painful and unsightly and once you have contracted the virus, you have it for life. The virus lays dormant until the immune system is weak. It then travels to the outer layer of the skin to form a Cold Sore.
If the virus keeps occurring, it is worth investigating further as to why this is. We have found that very often there is underlying adrenal fatigue. This means that the body is actually quite exhausted and depleted in essential nutrients. There can be food intolerances which are actually creating a strain on the body every time they are ingested which can further weaken the system.
