It may not sound alarming, having cold hands and feet, but our circulation is keeping us alive. The movement of the blood through the tissues delivering oxygen and vital nutrients is imperative for regeneration of new cells.

For the blood to move freely the correct ratio of minerals is needed in the body. A lack of essential fats makes the blood 'sludgy'.
The blood picks up its nutrients from the digestive tract, and clogged up intestines can mean toxic blood- you wouldn't want circulation to be improved just to send 'dirty' blood around the system!.

We recommend a 'Toxic Triangle' test to determine levels of toxicity - which organ is most toxic, how well the liver is coping and degree of leaky gut. We also check Vitamin and Mineral levels and Food Sensitivities. If there is a food coming in to the body to which the cells object, they will push the food out into the circulation to be 'mopped' up by the lymph and kidneys. This places a lot of strain on these organs and it is only when they are struggling that symptoms first start to appear - blue hands, cold tip of nose, cold ears.

Once the causative factors have been determined, it is possible to do something about it. This may include a short detoxification period, bowel cleansing, herbal and nutritional supplementation and a course of Massage, Acupuncture or Reflexology.
