Children's Screening - 4 - 13 years old

If the answer to any of the above is 'Yes' we may be able to help. We are now offering a Screening especially suitable for 4 - 13 year olds. We have introduced this Screening in response to parents whose children have various health problems and are unable to find a solution to them through conventional methods.
We test for items that can be ingested on a daily basis such as food colourings, dyes, flavour enhancers, grains and dairy. The digestive system is such a sensitive system and if it is out of balance in any way it will produce emotional and physical symptoms such as skin rashes, tummy aches and hyper-activity.
We check a range of vitamins and minerals which are all important for the correct development of the nervous system and for good cellular health. We also check for reactions to external items such as pet hair, grasses, pollens and fabrics as these can also cause skin rashes, frequent colds, asthma etc., If the child is displaying the appropriate symptoms, we check for parasites and fungal overgrowth.
Emotional balance is important for a child and there may be sub-conscious emotions such as anxiety or worry or difficulty adjusting to a new school that they may not be able to verbalise but is showing itself through a symptom such as loose bowel movements, tummy ache or emotional outbursts.
The screening is non-invasive and can pick up on many different imbalances and we use a combination of herbs, homeopathic remedies, good nutrition and Bach Flower remedies to help to bring the child back into balance, which usually takes about 4 weeks or so depending on the child's age (the younger the quicker, in general).

Babies Screening - Birth to 4 years old
There can be nothing more upsetting to a new parent than a baby who is obviously in distress and unable to communicate - the feeling of helplessness is overwhelming. Symptoms may be:
Excessive crying, Excessive hunger, Frequent colic with spasmodic movement, Sleep problems, Eczema, Rashes, Regurgitation.
Using a parent as a surrogate we can test for the all-important things that may be affecting your little one. We check if the rubber teat is causing a problem and if silicon is a better alternative. We check if the plastic bottle or parts of the dummy are causing irritation. If still breast-feeding we check the baby for reactions to dairy, grains or any foods that the mother is eating that are known to cause potential problems. If the issue is with rashes we also check for reactions to certain fabrics.
We check for key emotions as babies can pick up that parents are finding it difficult to adjust to the new arrival and Bach Flower remedies can be suggested which can be used by all family members accordingly.
We check the baby for medication residue from the birth or anything the mother had to take and check the baby's toxicity levels. If appropriate we also test for mercury if the mother has amalgam fillings that are potentially leaking. Where possible bring into the appointment any Formulas used and any equipment or clothing that you may suspect.
All of the testing is done via the mothers or carer's hand and is completely non-invasive to either party. We allow an hour for the appointment and if the baby becomes fractious or needs to move positions it is not a problem. See the 'Health Detective' Screening System.
