Medicated Body Wraps detoxify the skin, our largest organ. The body wrap helps the skin perform its various functions efficiently, whether it is allowing toxins to be released form the body or nourishment to be absorbed by the tissue. Medicated wraps are a unique treatment where specially prepared rice or oats are cooked with a mixture of herbal decoction and milk. This special mixture penetrates the subcutaneous layers and alleviates the body of aches and pain. Medicated wraps leave a dynamic reservoir of energy - invigorating and energising your mind and body.
Indications: Cleanses metabolic wastes and environmental poisons from the body, invigorates and energises the mind and body, promotes weight loss, stimulates circulation, reduces cellulite, and aids patients with more chronic health conditions such as physical pain, aches and muscular skeletal issues.

Ayurvedic Massage (Abhyanga) uses specific herbal oils to nourish and revitalise the body tissues and allow the toxins to be removed from the cells. Abhyanga has much deeper and more far reaching effects than an ordinary massage.
It is usually followed by a medicated steam bath (Sweda). It increases tissue strength, improves blood circulation, rejuvenates the whole body, nourishes the skin, delays aging, induces sound sleep, promotes vitality and reduces stress.
